Our experienced team of surveyors work from four locations across the region and is led by four partners: Peter Huff FRICS Peter qualified in London in 1972 and returned to Cambridge to lead the expansion of what was then a small single office family business to its current status as one of East Anglia’s largest independent surveying practices. Having worked in the area since 1972 Peter has an unrivalled knowledge of local property and their values, having experienced all types of market conditions. Bob Sadler FRICS After qualifying in 1973, Bob spent eight years in the Surveying Department of Knight Frank & Rutley in London. During this time he gained a wide experience of diverse property throughout the British Isles and Ireland. Returning to Cambridge he worked with Peter to develop the specialist surveying and valuation departments. Bob has a particular interest in older buildings and is accredited in 'The Repair and Conservation of Historic Houses'. A notable researcher into the residential development of Cambridge, he regularly gives talks on the subject. Gregory Smith FRICS Qualified in London in 1973 he started his career with Healey & Baker, an international firm of commercial surveyors, based in London. He later moved to a large, multi-office firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Cambridgeshire. In 1983 he was invited to set up a new Commercial Department for Westley & Huff and is now Partner in charge of commercial operations. Greg has experience of all aspects of commercial property. Paul Muscutt BSc (Est man) MRICS Paul moved to Cambridge in 1984 from the North-West after gaining a Bsc in Urban Estate Management. He joined a local firm of Chartered Surveyors giving him a wide experience in property matters and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1987. He joined Westley & Huff in 1988 to open firstly the Huntingdon office and then Peterborough in 1992. He is now the Partner in charge of the Huntingdon and Peterborough offices and specialises in residential property matters. Giles Winton-Smith Bsc (Hons) MRICS (Associate Partner) Giles joined Westley & Huff in 2004 from the Malcolm Hollis Partnership, a renowned London based Building Surveying Consultancy practice. He brought with him a wide knowledge of traditional building surveying dilapidations and party wall matters. Giles is a keen renovator of older properties and spends much of his spare time in hands on building repairs.
